WACKO MARIA × TIM LEHI

By WACKO MARIA

WACKO MARIA and American tattoo artist Tim Lehi have maintained one of Japanese streetwear's most consistent creative partnerships since 2018, and their latest drop continues to deepen that conversation. The Tokyo-based label is set to release a new capsule on Saturday, June 6, featuring apparel built around original tiger motifs drawn exclusively by Lehi for this collaboration.

The centerpiece of the collection is a full-coverage Hawaiian shirt constructed from an all-over collage print of Lehi's tiger illustration — a motif that sits comfortably within both the artist's signature dark flash-art lineage and WACKO MARIA's long affinity for bold graphic language and Hawaiian silhouettes. The drop also includes an open-collar shirt and a T-shirt carrying the same tiger graphic in more restrained applications.

Tim Lehi, who works out of San Francisco's Idle Hand tattoo studio, has built a global reputation for his technically exacting, mythology-inflected flash work. His tigers in particular — rooted in Japanese tattoo tradition but filtered through a distinctly Western hand — make the WACKO MARIA partnership feel less like a licensing exercise and more like a genuine cultural exchange.

The items will be available from June 6 at PARADISE TOKYO in Meguro and other WACKO MARIA flagship stores, through the brand's online shop, and at authorized stockists nationwide.
