TakahiroMiyashita:FooTokyo — the ongoing collaboration between designer Takahiro Miyashita and Tokyo fragrance brand Foo Tokyo — has unveiled its second collection. Following the project’s debut earlier this year, vol.2 takes its cue from the theme “ladies and gentlemen,” drawing on a particular kind of British elegance and restrained refinement.

The collection is built around a sensibility of dignified, composed dressing — the kind of clothes that imply a certain poise without becoming costume-like. Miyashita’s ability to fold cultural references into wearable forms is well established through his years at Number (N)ine and The Soloist, and this project extends that instinct into a more intimate, collaborative register with Foo Tokyo.
