Hender Scheme, the Tokyo-based footwear and accessories label founded by Ryo Kashiwazaki, has unveiled its 2026 Summer-Autumn collection, presenting a deep investigation into the principles of "NEW CRAFT." The brand builds on its signature practice of reinterpreting human-made objects through the lens of artisanal shoemaking — pushing further this season into material and structural experimentation.
The collection expands on the idea of making things by hand, exploring new approaches to construction and form that challenge conventional production methods. Hender Scheme has long been celebrated for its references to existing functional objects — from athletic shoes to industrial tools — translating them into natural leather goods that carry the traces of the hand that shaped them. This season, those investigations deepen, with "NEW CRAFT" acting as both a guiding concept and a declaration of the studio's ongoing evolution.
