Evisen Skateboards and Vans have teamed up to deliver two new collaborative shoes, dropping June 13 at Evisen's online store and select retailers.
The first silhouette, the Skate Old Skool 36+, taps directly into Evisen's long-running visual language — specifically, the brand's iconic tuna sushi motif. The upper combines pebbled leather and suede in deep crimson tones reminiscent of lean tuna, while a wasabi-green stitch accents the white side stripe. The sidewall carries a rice-grain texture that completes the culinary reference with a knowing wink.
The second model, the Skate Half Cab, takes inspiration from the samurai helmet — the very shape that informs the "E" in Evisen's logo. Working in a dark brown palette and mixing nubuck-style leather, textured materials, and a high-gloss fabric, the shoe evokes the layered weight of armour and lacquerware. The reference is less playful than the Old Skool and all the more striking for it.
Both pairs are priced at ¥15,400 (tax included).
